The purpose of the event is to increase awareness and participation in the city’s recycling programs. Information about recycling and the various programs the city has for both residential and commercial recycling will be provided. Make a pledge to recycle more, pick up recycling bins or exchange broken ones for new, and enjoy some refreshments. The event will be fun and informative for the whole family!

In addition, the city is seeking interested members from the public to participate in a recycling advisory group to help develop ideas to increase the city’s recycling rate.
