Request for Public Records
The City Attorney's office is the custodian of all city records. Requests for public records are governed by state law at Section 14-2.1 NMSA 1978, and amended by the city's Public Records Policy

Public Records requests will be accepted during the work week from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Original records may not be removed from city of Santa Fe offices.

Fees

The Public Records Policy includes a schedule of fees. The fees cover the cost of copying records. Upon submission of a public records request, you are agreeing to pay all fees associated with the request. You may be asked to pay copy fees in advance.

Two Options for Submitting a Public Records Request

1. Complete the request form in person at the City Attorney's office at:
        City Hall
        200 Lincoln Avenue, 2nd floor
        Santa Fe, NM 

2.  Print a records request form here. Complete the form and submit it by: 
    Fax to 505-955-6748 
    Deliver to the City Attorney's office at City Hall, 200 Lincoln Avenue, 2nd Floor 
    Mail to City Attorney's office, PO Box 909, Santa Fe, NM 87504-0909
