Santa Fe Government Television Channel 28 (SFGTV 28) promotes a well-informed public with a programming schedule that is newsworthy and educational.  City employees and residents are encouraged to submit program ideas to the Multimedia Office that will inform the public and showcase the work of their departments.

Television Production Information

If you want a television show on SFGTV 28, complete the Request Form and return it to the Multimedia Office.  You will be required to provide a script for the show.  Multimedia staff is available for script consultation but the script must be written and finalized by you.  Upon review and approval of your request, staff will schedule the project.

Please note that we have a production studio set up for filming 1/2 hour interview shows on the first Tuesday of every month at City Hall.

If you want something filmed on location (away from City Hall) during the workday, staff requires a minimum of one week's notice.

For on location shoots on weeknights or weekends, staff requires two week's notice.

The Multimedia Office produces a large number of videos.  The videos are used for broadcast on Channel 28, for special events such as the Mayor's Awards for Excellence in the Arts and for training and recruitment. Select videos are uploaded to YouTube and linked to the City's website.  Videos can be viewed at City Videos or at YouTube (enter "cityofsantafe" in the YouTube search field).
