A permit is required to reserve a city park for family gatherings, parties or other special events. The City Parks Department must approve use of public parks for organized gatherings. To reserve a park for family gatherings, parties or other special events, please fill out the application form. Applications should be submitted one month prior to the event. A Special Use Permit is required for all organized activities held at City of Santa Fe Parks and Streets

Permit Requirements (include permits for the use of City of Santa Fe streets for parades, street closures, block parties, etc.):

q       Letter of Intent, Must include all information regarding event. (DATE, LOCATION, TIME, PLACE, etc.) Letter of intent must be submitted no later than 1 month prior to event.

q       Copy of 501c3 Non-Profit Form, if applicable.

q       Required for parties of 100 and more:  Liability Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00. City of Santa Fe must be named certificate holder for the date of event.

q       An event pre-meeting will be set up 1 month prior to go over the logistics of the event.  *Do you want to specify when this is necessary?

q       A permit fee will be required for all events not sponsored by the City of Santa Fe.

q       Cathedral Park available for use only by administrative direction.

q       Noise Permit required if a PA is used. 

q       Map of Set-Up/ Routes for parades, processions, walks and runs, required for all events.
