Overview
One result of Santa Fe's attractiveness has been a rise in housing costs. The City has slowed the escalation of home prices through its proactive involvement in the local real-estate market and its comprehensive approach to affordable-housing development.

Through capacity building, technical assistance, and regulatory mechanisms, the City of Santa Fe has built a network of strong cooperation and assistance among various non-profit agencies. These agencies help to make affordable housing possible. Please click the Housing Partners tab on the left side of the page for a list of our partner agencies.

Public Review and Comment
The 30 day public review and comment period for the 2013-2017 Consolidated Plan, which included the 2013 Action Plan, has ended (as of May 7, 2013). The Plan goes before City Council on May 8, 2013 and then be submitted to HUD for their 45 day review. The final approved copy will be posted on the Community Development Block Grant page (see left side of this page) once it is approved by HUD. Thanks to all who took time to review. We did not receive any public comments during the 30 day period.
