NEW! Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG)
SVOG is a federal economic assistance program for arts organizations, administered through the Small Business Administration. If you are a theatrical producer, talent rep, venue promoter, operate a live venue, live performing arts organization, movie house, or cultural institution you may be eligible to apply.

NEW! Emergency Rental Assistance Program
The Emergency Rental Assistance program makes available $25 billion to assist households that are unable to pay rent and utilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds are provided directly to states, U.S. Territories, local governments, and Indian tribes. Grantees use the funds to provide assistance to eligible households through existing or newly created rental assistance programs. Learn More
The PNM COVID Customer Relief Programs are designed to deliver assistance for both residential and small business customers who are behind on their bill and need a hand in getting their account in better status to avoid an interruption of electric service down the road, and ultimately breathe a sigh of relief when they are facing a large past due balance.
NM SBA Leveraged Projects
NMSBA leveraged projects allow multiple small businesses that share technical challenges to request assistance collectively for a project funded at a higher level than the limits for a single company. Leveraged projects fund lab staff time and incidental materials at a range of $40,000 to $120,000 (the sum of the assistance for which each participating company is eligible) and must be completed by December 2021.

NM Recovery Fund
The NM State Investment Council (SIC) launches $100 million NM Recovery Fund.
Applications are now available for an emergency loan program to support larger businesses hardest hit by the COVID-19 health emergency. Must have 40 or more employees. Act fast and apply here.

LEDA Zero-Percent Interest Loans
- Limited to expenditures for land, building and infrastructure
- Can be used for lease abatement or mortgage assistance
- Company must be a qualified entity (manufacturer, non-retail service business with more than 50% of revenue generated out of state, or a retail business in a community or less than 15,000 in population)
- All loans will be required to provide security equal to the amount of the loan
New Mexico Finance Authority: Business Loan Partnership Program
NMFA and “Partner Banks,” together, share risk while lowering the overall cost of borrowing for the business by NMFA offering low-cost rates on its portion of the loan to a New Mexico business.

SBA Disaster Loan Assistance
Federal disaster loans for businesses, private nonprofits, homeowners, and renters. These are low interest loans that may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable and other bills that can't be paid because of the disaster's impact. More information from the SBA.
