Official Chapter 14 Written Interpretations


The Planning and Land Use Department maintains this page as the official public repository for written interpretations issued under Section 14-1.10 of the Santa Fe City Code.

Written interpretations provide the Planning and Land Use Director's official interpretation of provisions within Chapter 14 after consultation with the City Attorney. These interpretations may be issued in response to a formal request or when clarification is needed during the administration of the Land Development Code. Each interpretation becomes effective upon approval and remains available for public inspection in accordance with Section 14-1.10. Final interpretations may be appealed pursuant to Section 14-2.1b.5.IV.
