The City of Santa Fe maintains unpaved roads using three maintenance areas and a rotating monthly maintenance schedule designed to provide fair, consistent, and transparent service throughout the community.

Monthly Maintenance Rotation

Routes rotate each month to provide fair and consistent maintenance throughout the year.

Month One

Top to Bottom

  1. Route A
  2. Route B
  3. Route C
  4. Route D

Month Two

Bottom to Top

  1. Route D
  2. Route C
  3. Route B
  4. Route A

This alternating schedule prevents roads at the bottom of a route from always being maintained last and provides equitable service throughout the year.

 

Important to Know

Shoulder work and alley work are not part of the monthly rotation.

These activities are scheduled separately as projects when conditions, drainage, or safety needs require additional maintenance.
