The Traffic Engineering Section performs:
- Access Permits
- Excavations, Street Cuts, and Restorations Permit
- Obstruction of Streets Permit
- Traffic Calming Program
- Engineering review for the traffic and roadway impacts of new developments and subdivisions
- Stop sign and traffic signal warrant studies
- Traffic Studies and evaluations that result from citizen concerns
- Pedestrian Safety
- Speed Studies

- Oversize Load Permits are issued by the Police Department
