Artful Life Releases CHART Final Report |
Artful Life will present 4th Quarter Overview and Final Report Presentation at 8/31 Governing Body Meeting |
SANTA FE, August 26 – At the Governing Body meeting on Wednesday, August 31, Artful Life LLC will give their final quarterly update and present the final report on the CHART process. This is a presentation only and there will be NO ACTION taken by the Governing Body on Wednesday night. The meeting will be in-person and will be streamed live on the City’s YouTube channel. According to Artful Life LLC, lead consultant for the CHART Santa Fe initiative, the final report has been completed after 11 months of public engagement: public dialogues, listening sessions, interviews, surveys, art activations, a cultural history series, blog, and more. "This document is worthy of thoughtful consideration by all of our residents. I'm hopeful all Santa Feans will take some time to read the report, think deeply about its recommendations and help pursue ways to heal. Over the next few weeks, the Governing Body will delve into the report and its recommendations and consider ways to move forward," said Mayor Alan Webber. The 238-page report includes a history of the CHART project, from first mention to substitute resolution and finalized contract; details about project activities, data collection and analysis; a thorough discussion of results and recommendations, and appendices. Organized into “Culture,” “History,” “Art,” “Reconciliation,” and “Truth” topic areas, the report presents 52 recommendations to the City of Santa Fe Governing Body that are based on the prior 11 months of public engagement. The final report is available by clicking here, at www.santafenm.gov/chart, or at santafe.primegov.com/public/portal under the August 31 Governing Body Meeting.
