Genoveva Chavez Community Center Annual Closure - August 22–September 1, 2026
The Genoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC) will be closed August 22 through September 1 for annual deep cleaning, painting, maintenance, and equipment repairs.
During the closure, members and patrons may use Fort Marcy Recreation Center, Salvador Perez Recreation Center, and Bicentennial Pool.

Monday–Thursday: 6 a.m.–8 p.m.
Friday: 6 a.m.–4 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
Sunday: Closed
Fort Marcy Pool
Monday and Wednesday: 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
Salvador Perez Recreation Center
Monday–Friday: 6 a.m.–8 p.m.

The information below provides additional context about maintenance practices, staffing, repair processes, and ongoing efforts to support safe and reliable aquatic services for Santa Fe residents.

50 Meter Pool: 6:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (Limited Availability from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.)
Therapy Pool: 18+ only. Doctor assigned therapy order required with on-site therapist for children under 17 years of age. 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Leisure Pool: 9:30am -12:00PM (Tot Time kids 4 and under) 2:00pm-6:00pm (Open Recreation)
Open Rec Swim: 2:00pm-6:00pm (Open Recreation, Leisure Pool)
Lap Swim: 6:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (Limited Availability from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.)
