EnerGov’s online portal (CSS) is currently unable to process invoice payments made by credit card. We are working to resolve the issue.
In the meantime, invoice payments can still be made directly through the City of Santa Fe Finance Department. We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as soon as online payment functionality is restored.

New Public Requests Platform


As of November 25, 2025, the City is using a new Public Records Request platform. To submit a request for records, view previously published records, and to view and/or subscribe to receive alerts about new records related to a trending City topic, explore below. 
 

Submit a Records Request


If you submitted a request for records through the City’s previous platform (“NextRequest”), you can still access your records and the City will update you about your request using to the email you provided in your request. The City is not accepting requests using NextRequest after November 24, 2025.

Inspect Public Records


Under the Inspection of Public Records Act, every person has the right to inspect the public records of the City of Santa Fe. The City is responsible for making its records available for public inspection.

 

You can request public records of the City of Santa Fe in two ways:

 Mail your completed form to: City Records Custodian, PO Box 909, Santa Fe, NM 87504-0909, or deliver it in person at 200 Lincoln Avenue, Room 209, Santa Fe, NM 87501

Please include the following required information in your request:

  • A description of the record you would like to inspect
  • Your name
  • The date
  • Your contact information (email, mailing address, or telephone number).

Fee for hard copies of City public records:

  • $.25 - for each 8 1/2 x 11 paper page
  • $3.00  - disk
  • $10.00 - a thumb drive
