City Office of Economic Development Hosts Networking Event Summer Mixer to Bring People and Businesses Together In Person!

With vaccination rates enabling our businesses to reopen safely at 100% capacity, the City of Santa Fe's Office of Economic Development is excited to host a Summer Mixer! It is time to work toward rebuilding our business community in person by cultivating our local talent.

Santa Fe’s creative workforce is one of our greatest assets, and the Summer Mixer seeks to unleash its collective power. It is a place to make successful connections because, as Mayor Webber says, “The regional economy is coming back strong, entrepreneurship is on the rise, and there are lots of jobs out there now. We’ve never seen a recovery like this!”

If your business is looking to hire people now or in the future, or if you seek to expand your network and learn about innovative local companies, join us at our summer mixer. We have reached out to past internship event attendees, local businesses across different sectors, and our eclectic and creative workforce to help get Santa Fe out and about again.

Young people can share their internship experiences with each other, and make new contacts beyond their college and high school friends. We want to hear about your skills and your ideas. Businesses can meet new talent in an informal setting.

Rich Brown, Community Development Director, says, “The last year has been a challenging time for individuals and businesses, building and maintaining our social capital has been pushed aside, now that we have a high rate of vaccination, we can get back to community and professional development while having a good time.”

The Summer Mixer will be held Thursday, July 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Santa Fe Brewing Company Beer Hall. You'll enjoy complimentary food at this free, fun, casual event while connecting directly with Santa Fe's local employers and talent.
