City Offices, Facilities Closed on Monday, September 5, for Labor Day

No Residential Trash, Recycling Collection on City Holidays

All City of Santa Fe virtual administrative offices, in-person offices, and recreational facilities will be closed on Monday, September 5, in observance of Labor Day. Regular hours will resume at all locations on Tuesday, September 6. 

The following offices, facilities, and centers will be closed on September 5:

  • All Senior Centers 
  • All Recreation Centers
  • Santa Fe Trails and Santa Fe Ride
  • All Santa Fe Public Library branches (return book drops will be open)

New Holiday Schedule for Residential Trash and Recycling Collection In Effect

There are no residential trash and recycling collections on city-observed holidays like Labor Day. Collections will slide forward to the next day (see graphic). Carts should be placed curbside no later than 7:00 a.m. for collection.

 

Reminder: Fort Marcy Complex Closed for Zozobra

Fort Marcy Park is closed for the Burning of Zozobra event until Saturday, September 3, at 12:00 p.m. The tennis courts parking lot, tennis courts, dog park, and other outdoor areas will reopen after 12:00 p.m. on Saturday when the event cleanup is complete. The Recreation Center will reopen for normal operating hours on Tuesday, September 6. 

Reminder: Genoveva Chavez Community Center Closed for Annual Maintenance Procedures

Genoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC) is temporarily closed for annual maintenance through Monday, September 5. The facility will reopen for normal operating hours on Tuesday, September 6.
