The City of Santa Fe is currently seeking applications for open positions on its Film and Digital Media Council. The council serves as an advisory group for the City, assisting with policy recommendations and evaluating specific programs related to the film and digital media industry in Santa Fe.

Established in 2016 to promote film and entertainment industry projects and advise elected officials on relevant topics, the council provides input on the identification, implementation, and effectiveness of various film and digital media programs and incentives, including reviewing and commenting on proposed actions, ordinances, and regulations. There are 16 members of the council with five alternate positions from different sectors of the film and digital media field, including educational institutions, crews, non-profit organizations, and industry experts.

Candidates are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. Council members are expected to attend regular meetings held on the first Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. at 500 Market Station in the Railyard.

Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest and brief resume to Casey Dalbor, Business Growth Manager in the Office of Economic Development at cjdalbor@santafenm.gov
