The City of Santa Fe is calling on local community-based organizations (CBOs) to apply for the Santa Fe Forward Community Partner Program, a mini-grant initiative designed to expand inclusive and equity-focused public engagement in the City’s General Plan Update, Santa Fe Forward.
Santa Fe Forward is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to update the City’s long-term vision and 25-year policy roadmap that will impact key focus areas including, but not limited to, land use, housing, transportation, economic development, public services, and sustainability through 2050.
In an effort to foster broad, equitable, bilingual, and collaborative engagement throughout this process, the City is awarding mini-grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to up to ten (10) CBOs that serve or represent historically underserved populations. Community Partners will help facilitate meaningful community conversations, share key project updates, and gather valuable feedback from Santa Fe’s residents and communities who are often underrepresented in planning and policy decisions. By collaborating with organizations that are already trusted within their communities, the City wants to prioritize an inclusive planning process for Santa Fe Forward that reflects the perspectives, values, and aspirations of all Santa Feans.
