CHART PROJECT UPDATE: More Than 150 Santa Feans Applied to Work as Facilitators in Community Dialogue Project

September 7, 2021 -- Artful Life is pleased to announce it received more than 150 applications from Santa Feans (city and county) to be part of the CHART project team. The team will work collaboratively to coordinate the CHART project. Selected applicants will train as a team and be paid for their services. The open call for project team members went out on August 13 and closed midnight September 3.

The call solicited applications from Santa Feans from 14 years of age up to 80, who represent a wide range of experience and cultural backgrounds. Applicants live across Santa Fe’s zip codes.

"We are excited and gratified by the robust response to calls for applications for the CHART project team, including high school interns. The number of Santa Feans eager to participate in CHART already demonstrates an inspiring commitment on the part of the community. We are grateful to all who took the time to apply," said Artful Life’s CHART co-directors Valerie Martinez and Jenice Gharib.

The CHART co-directors have begun their review of applications and expect to finish their preliminary review by September 18, with the goal of choosing approximately 8-12 core team members, including high school interns. Initial reviews/evaluations will be followed by preliminary interviews. A first meeting with team finalists is projected to take place the last week of September. Finalization of the project team expected by September 30. Team training will then begin.
