The City of Santa Fe Recreation Division has introduced online reservations for Leisure/Recreation Swim Sessions at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center and Bicentennial Pool to streamline the swim session sign-up process and make it more user-friendly.

The new online reservation system went live on Wednesday, July 6 at 8 a.m. Walk-in registrations will still be accepted if slots are available for the session, but using the online sign-up is encouraged to ensure space availability prior to arrival. Patrons who sign up online will also be able to receive email or text notifications about the availability of amenities, updates, and changes.

The registration form for each day’s swim sessions will go live at 8 a.m. on the same day.

How to reserve a swim session spot online:

1. Visit the website of the Recreation Center where you would like to swim (Genoveva Chavez Community Center or Bicentennial Pool)
2. Click on the link for the sign-up form*
3. Select the time of the session you wish to attend, then fill out your contact information and chose how many tickets you will need (6 ticket maximum)
4. Submit the form and look for your email confirmation

*The sign-up form is available on mobile devices, but is best viewed from a desktop or laptop computer for full functionality.

When it’s time to swim:

1. Arrive at the selected swim location 15 minutes prior to your session start time
2. Check in at the front desk with your email confirmation
3. Provide payment or membership information
4. Have fun!

Patrons will able to reserve up to six (6) tickets per swim session. Tickets will be forfeited if you have not arrived within fifteen (15) minutes of the session start time. (I.e., if your session begins at 11 a.m., your tickets will be forfeited if you have not arrived by 11:15 a.m.). Payment must be made at the front desk upon arrival; no entry will be allowed without payment or proof of membership. Patrons who do not have access to the internet may make their reservations by phone. Phone reservations will also open at 8 a.m. on the day of each session.
