Location: Railrunner Rd to Walking Rain Rd on Beckner Rd.
Project Description: EMCO plans to mill the entire roadway before paving it. It will mill on July 1 and July 2 and pave on July 3 and July 5. A detour and traffic control will be set up, and the road will be closed during this project.

Contractor: City of Santa Fe Parks and Open Space Division 
Location: Acequia Trail between Saint Francis and Sierra Vista
Project Description: Removal of hazardous trees and minor disruptions to the trail are expected. Work will occur on Tuesday, July 2, and is estimated to be completed in one day.

Contractor: EMCO
Location: Arroyo de los Pinos behind Herb Martinez Park
Description: EMCO will install gabion baskets in the arroyo for erosion control. Work will begin July 1 and is expected to take at least a month. The entry point will be at Santa Clara Drive and Alamosa Drive. Traffic control and signage will be in place with minimal impact on traffic.

Location: Agua Fria/South Meadows
Project Description: The Public Works Department will begin work on the Agua Fria/South Meadows Intersection improvements. The project will include adding turning bays on Agua Fria and South Meadows and improving the signal. Traffic delays will occur, and you should seek alternate routes when possible. The detour is from South Meadows to Rufina and Jemez Rd. Signage is in place.

Contractor: Gonzalez Concrete Construction
Location: 100 E. Water st Project
Description: The contractor will replace sidewalk ramps, crosswalks, and curb and gutter. Traffic control will be in place throughout the duration. The project is estimated to start on June 27 and run through July 5. Sidewalks will be closed during construction, and pedestrian detours will be in place.

Contractor: The Nature Conservancy
Location: Cerro Gordo Open Space
Project Description: The second phase of an ongoing project, which includes earthwork and fencing, began in November 2022. All work will be performed on Nature Conservancy property, but access is via the City Parks Department’s Cerro Gordo Open Space trailhead parking area. The preserve will remain open. The construction site is temporarily fenced.

Contractor: Coates Tree Service 
Location: East Alameda St between Don Gaspar Ave and Old Santa Fe Trail, Northwest corner of Don Gaspar Ave and West DeVargas Street
Project Description: Contractor Coates Tree Service will continue their work on hazard trees at East Alameda and Don Gaspar. This work will be to remove dead limbs of several trees to minimize risk to citizens and as part of maintaining tree health. In addition, we will do similar work to the large willow on the Northwest corner of Don Gaspar Ave and West DeVargas Street. Eastbound and Westbound East Alameda Street will be closed from Don Gaspar Ave to Old Santa Fe Trail starting June 25, 2024, from about 8 am until about 5 pm. Traffic will be detoured around the area. Work will continue on June 26 with a sidewalk closer in the same area on the south side of East Alameda.

Contractor: GM Emulsion
Location: Guadalupe St.
Project Description: The work on the Guadalupe St. Reconstruction Project began on September 11, 2023. The project is a complete reconstruction of Guadalupe from Alameda to Paseo De Peralta. The project will last for the next 18 months and will include closures, lane shifts, and flagger operations. The project is now in phase II, removing the sidewalk, curb, and gutter from West San Francisco St to Paseo De Peralta, along with the median curb replacement at the intersection of Guadalupe & Paseo De Peralta. Work will include removing sidewalks and curb ramps; sidewalks will be closed during construction with pedestrian detours.

Contractor: Tekin & Associates
Location: Beckner Road and Richards Avenue
Project Description: Temporary Traffic Control at the Beckner and Richards Ave intersection. This is for public Safety. Right IN and Right-Out access only. Left turn movements will not be permitted from either Beckner Rd or Mission Bend Rd. (South). Motorists from the Mission Bend Sub-Division, including the school, who wish to take a left turn and head south on Richards Ave. will need to use the Mission Bend (North) intersection. Right IN/Right OUT access to Mission Bend (South) will be permitted.
