Summer Reading: Tails and Tales
Toddlers and children up to 17 years of age are invited to participate in the SFPL summer reading program. Children may read independently or be read to. Reading library books, personal books, e-books, and listening to audiobooks all count toward earning prizes. Tails and Tales is sponsored by the Friends of the Santa Fe Public Library and the New Mexico State Library. Santa Fe Public Library - Summer Reading Program.

Biking and Walking Committee
The Bicycling and Pedestrian Advisory Committee is seeking new members from Council Districts 2, 3, and 4. The Committee advises the Governing Body on ways to make bicycling and walking safe, equitable, viable, and comfortable modes of transportation and recreation. Applications due June 10; find out more here.
Badges for New Police Officers
Four Police Cadets were issued their badges by Chief Padilla and sworn in Tuesday morning after taking their oaths of office. Mayor Webber, Councilor Vigil-Coppler, Councilor Romero-Wirth, the families of the Officers, and the SFPD Training and Recruiting Unit joined in the ceremony to congratulate our new Officers.

Pollinator Day @ the Railyard Park
Learn to plant for pollinators and save water by choosing water-wise native plants, trees, shrubs and cacti. Water Conservation will host a workshop in the Railyard Park on June 6th from 10 a.m. to noon. Enter a raffle for free rain barrels, and go home with lots of great giveaways!
