SANTA FE, March 4, 2024 – The City of Santa Fe invites community members to join Mayor Alan Webber for a sneak peek of the new Santa Fe Regional Airport Terminal Expansion project from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Attendees can explore the new terminal and enjoy entertainment, art exhibitions, and refreshments. State Legislature, Santa Fe County Commission, and Santa Fe City Council officials have also been invited to participate. 

"This project has been on the runway and now it's taking off," said Mayor Alan Webber. "The Airport is a significant part of Santa Fe's future. It represents economic opportunity and support for tourism. This $21.5 million investment will improve the customer experience – and it's only the first phase."

The "Sneak Peak" event will take place at the Santa Fe Regional Airport at 121 Aviation Drive. Visitors will get a first peak at the newly-built Departure Gate Terminal Expansion Building, which is part of the first phase of a total transformation of the airport experience. The work also includes upgrades to the baggage claim area and departure check-in. Free parking will be available for the event with shuttles from the parking lot to the terminal.
