The Santa Fe Public Library is hosting a Community Art Show and Contest for local artists who wish to submit any visual media by May 4.
Artwork can be any size but must be inspired by our reading selections this year. Artwork can be dropped off at any Santa Fe Public Library branch from April until May 4.
There is a maximum of two entries per participant; a form for each entry is required. Find the entry form and more details here.
This year’s jury will select prize-winning work that best reflects the themes from 2024 Santa Fe Read’s selected works.
Themes can include, but are not limited to:
- The Hero’s Journey
- Finding One’s Power
- Female Strength
- Greek Mythology
Prizes will be awarded in the following age categories: Toddler 0-4, Children 5-8, Youth 9-12, Teens 3-17, and Adult 18-plus.
All received entries will be exhibited at the Santa Fe Public Library downtown branch gallery space (Work must be appropriate for a public setting for all ages).
Note: the entry form grants permission to feature your submission to promote the Santa Fe Reads program.
