The City of Santa Fe has scheduled Coates Tree Service for an emergency tree removal at 8 am on June 7 at the intersection of East Alameda and Don Gaspar.

A large Siberian Elm is in danger of imminently falling. Due to the nature of the project, removal of tree biomass will be conducted to mitigate the dangers of the full removal.

There may be some tree debris left in turf areas also pending removal.

Eastbound and westbound East Alameda Street will be closed from Don Gaspar Avenue to Old Santa Fe Trail from 8 am until about 1 p.m. Traffic will be detoured around the area.
