Santa Fe, July 20, 2022 – On July 24, New Mexicans to Prevent Gun Violence (NMPVG) will hold a Peacemaker Ceremony and interactive demonstration of forging guns into garden tools from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church (208 Grant Ave). The demonstration will utilize guns surrendered to the Santa Fe Police Department during the Guns to Gardens gun buyback event on July 23. Mayor Alan Webber and City Councilor Renee Villarreal will attend the event to read an official proclamation of "Miranda Viscoli and Reverend Dr. Harry Eberts Peaceseekers Day."
