Human Services Committee Seeking New Members

1 Jun, 2023

The City of Santa Fe Human Services Committee is seeking new members. The Human Services Committee (HSC) was established to assess and advocate for human services needs, coordinate resources to maximize cost-effectiveness, evaluate local human services programs, and provide technical assistance to programs. The responsibilities of the committee include oversight of the Human Services Fund, review of applications for the fund, making funding recommendations, and ensuring access to services for individuals who reside in Santa Fe.

The HSC works to build and strengthen community capacity to address the most critical community health and wellness needs and to improve outcomes for adults throughout Santa Fe.

Members are appointed by the Mayor with approval from City Council. Members must reside within Santa Fe County, should be from historically underrepresented groups, and should vary in age to represent the populations served by the HSC.

The Human Services Committee meets virtually at 3 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every other month. Meetings are open to the public.

Interested applicants can apply by submitting a resume and letter of interest via the PrimeGov website at: https://santafe.primegov.com/Portal/NewForm/4?committeeId=19
