Join Us for the 3rd Annual Virtual “What’s Up with Water” Presentation on April 28

25 Apr, 2022
SANTA FE, April 25, 2022 – The City of Santa Fe Water Division invites you to the 3rd Annual Virtual “What’s Up with Water” presentation on Thursday, April 28, at 9 a.m. or 7 p.m. (the same information will be presented during both time slots). Water Division Director Jesse Roach will give a recap of water news and updates from 2021, and then look ahead to the outlook for 2022.
“There is a lot going on when it comes to water in the City Different, and we have found that folks like the opportunity to listen, ask, and discuss,” said Roach. “So, each year in the spring we offer this opportunity for residents to learn more about what happened the previous year and then take look at the snowpack in anticipation of what we will do this year.”
The “What’s Up with Water” presentation will take approximately an hour and a half. Topics include:
  • 2021 Recap and 2022 Outlook
  • Status of Water Bank and Water Rights
  • BDD Shared Pool
  • Santa Fe Water Resources Indicator
  • SJC Return Flow Pipeline Stats
  • Long Range Planning
  • Financials
  • Q&A (time permitting)
Jesse Roach's recent presentation on how Santa Fe's municipal water supplies can support the city's projected growth is also available for viewing online: PechaKucha VOL. 13 - "Do We Have Enough Water To Support This Growth?"
Residents can visit www.santafenm.gov/water for more information about the City of Santa Fe Water Division, or the Water Conservation Office's website for water-and-energy saving tips and resources.
