Mayors Webber, Keller to Unveil Zozobra Balloon Design

ALBUQUERQUE – On Monday, May 20, 2024, Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller alongside Santa Fe Mayor Alan Webber will unveil the much-anticipated Zozobra hot air balloon design at the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum.

Media members are invited to an announcement that highlights the cooperative spirit between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, as well as their combined endeavors to promote the rich cultural heritage and cherished traditions of New Mexico.

The hot air balloon is not only a testament to New Mexico’s two iconic festivals, but will also serve as a flying ambassador, enhancing tourism and community engagement.

Joining the Mayors will be Raymond G. Sandoval, Zozobra event committee chair; Dr. Shelle Sanchez, director of CABQ Arts & Culture; Randy Randall, executive director of TOURISM Santa Fe; and Bryce Risley, Zozobra hot air balloon chairman.
