New Year’s Holiday Closures

All City of Santa Fe offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024, for New Year's.

Additional closure information:

  • Santa Fe Trails and Ride will run on a holiday schedule on Sunday, December 31. There will be no service, and Transit Administration offices will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024.
  • All Santa Fe Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024.
  • The Genoveva Chavez Community Center will close at 12 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, 2023, and remain closed on Monday, Jan. 1, 2024. 
  • The Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe Golf Course will be open on Monday, January 1, 2024, weather permitting.

The Parking Division will observe Monday, January 1, 2024, as a meter holiday. Patrons may park in metered parking spaces at no charge. Surface lots and garages are still subject to fees.

Regular hours will resume at all locations on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Holiday Trash Collection Schedule

There will be no residential trash and recycling collection on Monday, January 1, 2024. Collection will occur one day later through the end of the week (see graphic). Place carts curbside no later than 7 a.m. for collection. 

Commercial collection will not change.
