Children of the Pueblos del Sol neighborhood can now enjoy a newly updated playground recently completed by the City of Santa Fe Parks and Open Space Division.

The opening will be celebrated in a ribbon-cutting at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22.

The project was funded by the Governing Body and Gross Receipt Tax (GRT) and was the result of a Parks assessment of the playground and two rounds of public input.

The renovation included the complete removal of existing wooden structures. The old structures were replaced with a playground designed for 2 to 5-year-olds and another designed for 5 to12-year-olds.
