New Spanish-Language Video Series for Entrepreneurs Presented by OED, Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce
The City of Santa Fe’s Office of Economic Development (OED) and the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, as part of their efforts to boost entrepreneurship among Hispanic and Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs, have launched several initiatives aiming to educate this specific audience on how to start your own business and the steps needed to register your business and obtain a city business license, among other important topics. One of these initiatives is the creation and launch of a video series with Carlos Medina titled "Entre el Negocio y el Amor."
In this Spanish-language video series, or mini telenovela, viewers will follow the story of Carlos and Bella, two characters trying to figure out how to open their own businesses and finding love in the process.
Some of the steps covered in their love story include:
- How to choose a business name and register your business with the New Mexico Secretary of State
- How to obtain Tax ID Numbers: EIN and CRS
- How to obtain a City of Santa Fe Business License
There are a total of 5 episodes being released on the Chamber of Commerce’s YouTube channel (one every Friday), with the first episode airing on Friday, July 14.
