We have two key Committees that govern our industry priorities and growth strategies.
The Office of Economic Development administers two key Committees that shape Santa Fe's economic development strategies and guide the growth of targeted industries. These are the Economic Development Advisory Council (EDAC) and the Film and Digital Media Council. We deeply appreciate the dedication and expertise of our volunteer members who serve on these vital Committees, contributing to Santa Fe's vibrant economy.
The City Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) is an advisory group established in 2018 under Section 6-17 SFCC 1987 (Ordinance No. 2018-27) to support economic development and provide recommendations to elected officials. The Committee plays a vital role in shaping economic policy by reviewing, commenting on, and advising on proposed actions, ordinances, and regulations early in their development, ensuring informed decisions that positively impact businesses and the community.
