Collaborative Impact ($30,000 Awards)
| The IndigenousWays Festival (IWF) - will be a seasonal monthly festival starting August 2023 (and continuing in 2024), from 5-9 p.m. in the Santa Fe Railway Park on the Performance Green. IWF is returning from its 2022 successful inaugural year. The 2023 event will be on Friday, August 18th, during Indian Market. 2024 performances will take place on the first Friday of May and June. | |
| Museum of Dance | Museum of Dance's Cyclical Mentorship Program - is an intergenerational cyclical administrative and artists mentorship experience to advance local and regional dance artists through strategic, professional support and culminating in cohesive public engagement. MOD will support regional dance artists to produce professional films highlighting Santa Fe's natural beauty, culture, and historical sites. Final products will be presented in regional NM theaters, SITE, and online at museumdance.org |
| Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus - CI | The Art + Sol Festival - is a ten-day festival celebrating all that makes Santa Fe a fabulous winter destination for arts and culture. In 2023, its inaugural year, Art + Sol brought together 19 organizations (nine nonprofits, five galleries) that put on performances, art walks, and events across Santa Fe over a nine-day period. In 2024, the Festival will include even more participating organizations in drawing visitors to Santa Fe to enjoy arts, culture, and all that this beautiful city has to offer |

| Santa Fe Opera | The Santa Fe Opera 2024 Season - June 28 to August 24, 2024, will feature 36 performances of five operas in new productions. Additionally, the company will perform two evenings of Apprentice Showcase Scenes featuring the work of our singing and technical apprentices. |
| Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival | The Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival 51st Season - from July 14 - August 20, 2024, with six weeks of concerts. Reflecting the excellence in performance quality and creativity in programming for which the Festival has become renowned, the season will feature more than 40 concerts by nearly 100 world-class musicians for an audience of residents and, most importantly, many out-of-town visitors. |
| Site Santa Fe | SITE Santa Fe 2023-2024 Season - In the coming year, SITE will present exhibitions of contemporary art that include works by Deborah Roberts, Nicholas Galanin, Billie Zangewa, N Dash, Arturo Herrera, Dakota Mace, and Teresita Fernández. Additional projects include SITE's Young Curators & SITE Scholars program. |

Georgia O'Keeffe Museum Exhibitions & Family Programs - The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum exhibitions and free monthly family programs will attract diverse local, regional, national, and international audiences to Santa Fe. The O'Keeffe will promote our vibrant exhibitions, learning programs, and engaging experiences that celebrate the art, life, and independent spirit of Georgia O'Keeffe in the greater contexts of humanities, history, and place. |
| NDI New Mexico | Spring Into Motion Dance Performance and Film: The Making of Youth Artistry in Santa Fe - NDI New Mexico's annual Spring into Motion dance performance held at the Dance Barns in Santa Fe. Our proposed film about the Spring into Motion performance will feature performance highlights and student and teacher commentary about the performances. This 5-7 minute film will highlight performances by our most advanced teen students and NDI New Mexico as one of Santa Fe's most important youth arts organizations, which fosters creativity and artistic excellence. |
| IFAM | IFAM, 2023-24 Communications/Lecture Series - Prepares for 20th Market, will focus on the deep connection between both the global community and our own community here in New Mexico by curating monthly dynamic programming using our Folk Art Matters Lecture as a vehicle at the IFAM Center to reinforce a year-round, community-oriented presence. This initiative will kick off at Market 2023, last from August '23 - May '24, and culminate in a big celebration in 2024. |
| Aspen SF Ballet | Aspen Santa Fe Ballet's 2023-2024 Programs - Aspen Santa Fe Ballet has Santa Fe-based programs that include dance performances by extraordinary, professional dance companies, its dance school that provides year-round classes for Santa Fe area children, and a Mexican folkloric dance program for local youth. |
| MNMF | "People of the Portal" will interview artists participating in the Native American Artisans Portal Program as a platform to share their stories, artistic practices, and perspectives. As the Palace of the Governors continues to open to the public, "Seasons of the Palace" will explore the state's story through the lens of the museum's collections, the Palace itself, and exhibitions. Together, these programs enact the museum's layered approach to storytelling. |

| Santa Fe Desert Chorale | The Santa Fe Desert Chorale 2023 Season - A choral season with two distinct offerings. | Santa Fe Art Institute | SFAI Thematic Programming - The SFAI International Thematic Residency supports and amplifies dynamic artistic practices that engage complex social issues, inspire individual transformation, and inform collective action. We support up to 70 artists and activists annually through residencies, paid fellowships, workshops, civic engagement, and public events. We connect local and international artists with community activists and change leaders with free public programs such as SFAI140, Tilt, Platform, and exhibitions. |

| Santa Fe Children's Museum | Art of Our Community and Culture: Fine Art Friday - We will present a weekly program, Fine Art Friday, to celebrate artistic excellence, community, and culture at the Santa Fe Children's Museum. From traditional hoop dancing to spoken word art, glassmaking, painting with the pigments extracted from plants, and so much more - this weekly program collaborates with some of NM’s most innovative artists to enrich all ages through programs on literature, dance, theater, and cultural celebrations. |
| Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian | Reflections & Conversations - Bringing the artists’ voices and perspectives to our audiences, we have created four lines of programming: Reflections on conversations with professionals in the field; California Conversations with living artists interviewing each other in relation to our newest exhibit; Jewelry Conversations, focusing on artists whose work is represented in our Jewelry Gallery and collection; and Curatorial Sessions, which discusses current exhibit and artists experiences through talks and podcasts. |
| Santa Fe Independent Film Festival | The Santa Fe International Film Festival (SFiFF) is presented by the nonprofit Santa Fe Film Institute (SFFI) and will take place October 18-22, 2023, with over 300 hours of film programming, filmmaker Q&As, educational panels and workshops, and industry networking events. SFiFF's film programs will include International films, American Independents, New Mexico(NM) films, the Green Earth film program, and SFiFF's world-renowned Indigenous Film program. |
| Santa Fe Playhouse | Season 2023 - The Santa Fe Playhouse (SFP) produces six live productions each season. | Santa Fe Pro Musica | Santa Fe Pro Musica's 2023-24 Season - Between September 2023 and April 2024, Santa Fe Pro Musica (SFPM) will perform extraordinary and diverse classical music spanning seven centuries, including orchestral masterworks, commissions, and premieres, internationally renowned chamber ensembles, and period-authentic presentations of a wide range of Baroque repertoire. By spotlighting local artists and welcoming classical music’s brightest luminaries to local stages, Pro Musica offers concertgoers the best of Santa Fe and the world. |
| Wise Fool NM | Circus Arts - Wise Fool New Mexico is a pioneer in the national social circus movement. We apply the power of circus arts to build community, teach, and engage. The next performance will focus on Gender Justice. It will be transformative, filled with amazing acts, awe-inspiring costumes, and impressive puppets. The narrative will captivate the audience, provocatively highlighting the issues, and ultimately aim to break with the binary mindset while building a rapport between artists, residents, and visitors. |
| Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus | The Santa Fe Symphony's 40th Anniversary Season - SFS will present 16 full-scale concerts from Sep 12, 2023, to May 19, 2024 (11 subscription Concerts, 3 choral/orchestral, 2 chamber/Strata) presenting varied repertoire with emphasis on composers and soloists of color and female composers. All videos on Santa Fe Symphony TV will be free, offering concert excerpts to audiences across the globe. 2023-24 celebrates SFS’s remarkable history going back to its founding year of 1984 with collaborative partnerships and expanded community programs. |

| New Mexico Performing Arts | New Mexico Performing Arts Society 2023-24 Season - NMPAS presents 12-15 events per season, including three major series concerts in Santa Fe and Albuquerque - Winter Solstice, Annual New Mexico Bach Society, and Season Finale Opera - four to five special chamber music programs in various NM cities and towns, and two Santa Fe concerts in conjunction with Santa Fe Woodwind Immersion. |
| Railyard Park Conservancy | Railyard Art Project - The Railyard Art Project (RAP) facilitates the installation of public art and performance in the Railyard Park + Plaza. We encourage collaboration across disciplines and welcome thoughtful and edifying projects with the potential for community engagement and cultural enrichment. In FY 23-24, Railyard Park Conservancy plans to release a call for Indigenous artists to exhibit, providing a public forum for a dynamic but underresourced community and ensuring that RAP continues to reflect the culture and history of the region. |
| New Mexico Actors Lab | New Audience Development: Building on our Foundation - The project covers three of the four productions of NMAL's 2023 season: Edward Albee's Seascape (September 6 - 24), Jennifer Haley's The Nether (October 11 – 29), and JQA by Aaron Posner (November 15 -December 3). |
| Santa Fe Classic Theater | Shakespeare in the Garden 2023 "Much Ado About Nothing" - 16 performances at the amphitheater of the Santa Fe Botanical Garden of William Shakespeare's comedy, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, the comedy-tragedy based on the misunderstandings of love. The production will include original music composed and performed under the direction of Sitara Schauer and dance choreographed by Patrick MacDonald. |
| Santa Fe Studio Arts Collective | 2023 Santa Fe Studio Art Tour: October 20th - 29th - Ten days of open studios and artist-driven workshops are the focus of the 2023 Santa Fe Studio Art Collective's annual Studio Tour. The Studio Tour is now in its 18th year and is a fixture in the Santa Fe art experience. Highlighting the diverse neighborhoods where artists work and live is part of a long-term multi-layered strategy and SFSAC's sustainability plan for FY 2023-2025. |
| Santa Fe Friends of Traditional Music | Santa Fe Traditional Music Festival - The 7th annual Santa Fe Traditional Music Festival (Santa Fe TradFest) is a three-day event in late August, held at Camp Stoney/Bishop's Ridge, a beautiful, wooded site on the original Santa Fe Trail, 10 miles from downtown Santa Fe. The Santa Fe TradFest presents concerts, workshops, jam sessions, children's programs, & other activities featuring music from various cultural traditions, including bluegrass, old-time, Hispanic New Mexican, Native American, cowboy, Cajun, Celtic, & other genres. |

| CENTER | Review Santa Fe Photo Symposium: Presentations, Mentorship, and Book Fair - The annual Review Santa Fe Photo Symposium brings together a global network of 100 selected lens-based artists and up to 50 representatives from museums, publications, book publishers, and media outlets. The programs include Scholar Presentations, an Exhibition, a Book Fair, Mentorship, Professional Development Workshops, and more. For over two decades, the internationally renowned photography conference has attracted a worldwide audience to Santa Fe, NM. |
| Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association | Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association 30th Season - In its 30th season, the Santa Fe Youth Symphony Association (SFYSA) will increase its offerings of classes and financial aid, collaborate with many other Santa Fe-based organizations, and increase their marketing in an effort to excite Santa Fe residents, and beyond, about their accessible, culturally relevant, and highly impactful programming in chamber music, orchestra, jazz, mariachi, and private lessons. |
| Theater Grottesco | Two Artists in Prison - is the premiere of an original play depicting two artists/prisoners forced to tell a story every day to appease the guards. Today, the story is Beowulf, and only one knows this ancient Western classic. Together, they create their own version, with comments sometimes erupting, reflecting on the story as a foundation of our modern paradigm. Two Artists is supported by gesture-based dance and projections using a bare light bulb and jail cell objects. |
| Tri- M (Millennial Music Makers) Productions | TRI-M'S Production of Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical, In the Heights - Will produce Lin-Manuel Miranda's Latino musical, In the Heights, in June 2024, in association with choreographer and dancers of Moving Art Española, a non-profit Arts group located in Española, New Mexico, to present a largely Hispanic singing and dancing cast telling stories of cultural significance. |
| ARTsmart | ARTsmart Visiting Artist Program Exhibitions - ARTsmart Visiting Artist Program Exhibitions will be displayed in multiple locations during the funding year. Exhibitions include 650 SFPS students seen by thousands of area residents. ARTsmart's mission is to ensure quality visual arts education access for all youth in SF's public schools and surrounding communities. Artists introduce students to diverse skills, cultures, and aesthetic frameworks, and students develop confidence and self-discovery through artwork celebrated in the community. |
| Exodus Ensemble | QUADREP - The Exodus Ensemble creates explosive, original adaptations of classics where live theatre, cinema, and audience interaction collide. This project, titled QUADREP (short for quadruple repertoire), involves producing all three existing Exodus experiences - Ivanov, Bathsheba, and Jayson - in repertoire, as well as debuting the newest addition to our repertoire: a contemporary adaptation of the 1923 expressionist play, The Adding Machine. |
| International Shakespeare Center | Santa Fe Shakespeare Festival 2024 - In 2023, for the fourth year, the International Shakespeare Center and its associate, The Upstart Crows, will sponsor and present multiple productions of the plays of William Shakespeare in Santa Fe from May to September, involving not only their own acting companies but those of other Shakespeare groups in Santa Fe. |
| Teatro Paraguas | Teatro Paraguas 19th Season - Teatro Paraguas presents 2-3 contemporary award-winning Latinx plays each year, as well as two community celebrations (El Día de los Muertos and A Musical Piñata for Christmas), two children's theatre productions, two flamenco concerts, and many poetry readings and other cultural events. |

| Spanish Colonial Arts Society | Spanish Colonial Arts Society – A Re-introduction - SCAS's focus is multi-faceted. It engages both youth and adult artists to speak, teach, demonstrate, and promote their crafts at the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art. Access to SCAS's collection, library, and archive is key to all programming, as the public can access these unique resources and, in turn, use them as inspiration for their creative endeavors. SCAS also offers an ongoing lecture series to engage artists, historians, scholars, and the general public, covering topics such as mentorship, legacy, tradition, and collaboration. These monthly lectures are usually held in our historic museum building and are followed by a reception so that attendees can interact with speakers and staff. |
| Opera West | Full opera Cavalleria Rusticana by Pietro Mascagni - Opera West will present a fully staged, costumed opera, Cavalleria Rusticana, with a chamber orchestra featuring outstanding professional opera singers. Opera West will have four performances and include some local singers from NMSA (New Mexico School of the Arts) and children from our community. We will live-stream it across the country and video-record it. |
