Bike Purchase Bus Pass Rebate Program

The City of Santa Fe's Resolution #2013-60 provides a free annual or monthly bus pass with the purchase of a bike or purchase of bike gear or by providing volunteer services in return for a bicycle from the following local participating vendors:

With the puchase of $200.00 or more, an annual bus pass is provided.

With the purchase of $20.00 - $199.00, a monthly bus pass is provided.

Bring your original reciept and a photo id to the Transit Administration Bldg. located at

2931 Rufina St., Santa Fe, NM 87507 to get your free bus pass.

 Hours of operation are:  Mon-Fri  8 a.m. - 5 p.m.  (with the exception of holidays)

Half-Fare Program

Do You Qualify? 

Individuals who qualify for Santa Fe Trails Half-Fare Program are entitled to ride regular fixed-route buses  or one-half the regular adult fare. A great value!

Who Is Eligible? 

  • Elderly: Any person 60 years or older
  • Disabled: Physician-verified physical or mental disability
    • Current letter from Doctor
    • Medicare Card
    • Other Transit Agency card identifying person as ADA
    • Current SSI Notice of award letter
    • Santa Fe Ride ADA card
    • Letter from Human Services indicating medical disability

Why do you need a Half-Fare ID Card? 

By standardizing the identification process, it benefits everyone.  

Boarding the bus will be faster and more convenient with  our new Half-Fare ID Card.

Bus Pass Partnership Program for Non-Profit &Social Service Agencies

What is the Bus Pass Partnership Program?

This program allows social service and nonprofit agencies who work with the indigent to purchase discounted bus passes.

How does the program work?

You determine the number of passes you wish to buy.

You complete the attached order form, and email it to Santa Fe Trails.

City of Santa Fe's Resolution No. 2014-32

allows discounts on 1 day, 15 day and 31 day bus passes

when purchased in volume for distribution to indigent clients.
