Go Local, Go Different Fund – Now Accepting Applications
The City of Santa Fe’s Office of Economic Development is now accepting applications for the Go Local, Go Different Fund — a community-focused funding opportunity supporting projects, events, and programs that strengthen Santa Fe’s local economy and businesses. Applications close: February 5, 2026 (11:59 p.m.).
This fund supports initiatives that help local businesses thrive, activate neighborhoods, expand workforce opportunities, and contribute to the cultural and economic vitality of our city.
What Can Be Funded
Projects may align with one or more of the following focus areas:
- Creative Industries & Cultural Economy
- Entrepreneurship & Small Business Support
- Workforce Development
- Targeted Industry Development
- Placemaking & Public Activation
- Economic Mobility & Equity Programs
Funding Details
- Awards of up to $10,000 for strategic or programmatic projects
- Awards of up to $5,000 for event support or sponsorships
- All funded activities must take place by June 30, 2026
Important Dates
- Applications open: January 6, 2026
- Applications close: February 5, 2026 (11:59 p.m.)
- Informational Webinar: January 20, 2026 (12:30–1:30 p.m.)

Funding is competitive, limited, and subject to availability. Applications will be reviewed by an internal City team based on alignment, feasibility, community benefit, and overall impact, in accordance with the City of Santa Fe Economic Development Fund Ordinance.

In partnership with NMSU’s Arrowhead Center, the Santa Fe Small Business Navigator connects our entrepreneurs with the region's resource partners to guide them through every step of owning a business - from starting it to expanding it to selling it. The program includes one-on-one consultations, Native American services, bilingual services, and microgrants to support early-stage needs.
