Join us for the kickoff of the Books Behind the Business discussion series, which spotlights Santa Fe’s creative entrepreneurs and the books that shaped their journeys. The new series begins with speakers, Jerome Morrison of 505omatic, and Lauren Cason of Refract Studio.
Jerome Morrison brings his creative insight as a multimedia artist and innovator to the conversation.
Lauren Cason of Refract Studio discusses The Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell and how storytelling influences the way we design and interact with emerging technology. Lauren’s work at Refract Studio blends art, engineering, and storytelling to create immersive experiences in augmented reality—collaborating with global names like Snap Inc. and Google and local arts and culture institutions in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. From interactive installations to award-winning prototypes, Refract pushes the boundaries of what's possible through tech and myth.
