🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️ Join Us for the Grand Opening of the Canada Rincon Trail! 🚶‍♂️🚴‍♀️

We are excited to announce the ribbon cutting for the Canada Rincon Trail on February 14 at 11 a.m.! Come celebrate the grand opening of this new 0.38-mile, 10-ft wide, landscaped multi-use concrete path that connects Calle Mejia to Camino Francisca/Avenida Rincon, enhancing transportation options and connectivity within our community.

Our ribbon cutting will include speeches from Mayor Webber, Councilors Castro and Lindell, BPAC Chair and members, and other key community leaders. This project, funded by the NMDOT, FHWA, and the City of Santa Fe, began in January 2024 and is set to improve our city’s non-motorized transportation network.

General instructions for getting there by car

➡️ Via Avenida Rincon – the most direct route to the N end of the trail where the ribbon cutting will be held.

Head north on 84/285 St. Francis Dr., then take the 599 Exit. Head west and take the next exit to N Ridgetop Rd. at the stop sign take a right and you will pass the Thornburg Investment Management building. Take the following right on Avenida Rincon. Keep following Ave Rincon under the 599 Highway, and you will get to Camino Francisca. The trail is to the left of Camino Francisca.

➡️ Via Calle Mejia, South end of the trail

Head north on 84/285 St. Francis Dr., then turn left on Alamo Drive, and turn first right on Calle Mejia, past The Lodge at Santa Fe. Just before the gate of The Reserve, you will see the trail to your right. You will need to walk or ride your bicycles to the end of the trail where the ribbon cutting will be held (0.38 mi).
