SANTA FE – The ice arena at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center has experienced a forced closure due to mechanical issues.

A contractor is currently on site working on repairs. Repairs may continue to be delayed due to sourced parts with an unknown lead time. 

An anticipated re-opening date is unknown at this time. Updates will be posted on the City's Website as they become available. Recreation staff continue to work with contractors to assess and continue repairs.
