Community members are invited to celebrate the completion of the new and improved ballfield #2 at Ragle Park on Sunday, October 22, starting at 12 p.m.! The City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe Little League will kick off the festivities with a ribbon-cutting celebration, followed by a free movie screening of "The Perfect Game" (PG) starting at 12:30 p.m.

The City's Parks and Open Space Division contracted with Hellas Construction, Inc. earlier this year to redesign and renovate the ballfield and install new synthetic turf on both the infield and outfield. The new surface will accommodate both baseball and softball games, improve overall playing conditions, and help conserve water use on the field.

The reopening celebration and free movie screening are sponsored by the City's Community Engagement Department.
