The Parks and Open Space Division invites community members to an on-site meeting at Pueblos del Sol Park to provide feedback on upgrades and proposed new playground elements for the park. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 3036 Governor Miles Rd., Santa Fe, NM. All ages are welcome, and snacks will be available for attendees. 

The Parks Division has initial funding for Phase 1 of the renovations and upgrades at the park and will present several options for attendees to review and offer feedback, as well as take suggestions and ideas for features not included in the current proposals. Planned Phase 1 upgrades already include renovations to the existing shade structure and picnic table and additional tree plantings around the park. The Parks Division has also already moved forward with modifications to the existing structures to ensure they are safe and available for play during the planned upgrades, as well as removing elements that were unsafe and could not be stabilized for further use.  

Ideas and suggestions for Phase 2 of the renovations when funding is available are also welcomed during the community meeting!

Signage is currently posted onsite at the park, informing community members of the planned renovations and how to find out additional information.
