Get ready for planting season! The Santa Fe Seed Library opens at the Southside Public Library for the 2025 Season on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Seed Library, operated by the Santa Fe Extension Master Gardeners’ Seed Stewards and hosted at the Southside Library, will contain thousands of open-pollinated vegetable, herb, and flower seeds donated by local growers and commercial seed companies and will be available during the Library’s regularly scheduled hours.
Visitors can take up to five packets of seeds. A Library card is not required to take packets from or contribute to the Seed Library.
Seed Steward Volunteers will be available to answer seed and planting questions every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through July 26th, except for Saturday, May 10th.
