Pilar F.H. Faulkner
District 3 Councilor
Pilar Faulkner brings more than 20 years of experience in government affairs, policy development, and complex negotiations to her role as City Councilor for District 3. A northern New Mexico native and Pojoaque High School graduate, she has dedicated her career to public service and delivering meaningful outcomes for the communities she serves.

As City Councilor, Pilar works to advance thoughtful legislation, guide responsible budgeting, and engage residents on the issues that matter most to their neighborhoods. She also chairs the City Council Finance Committee, where she leads review of the City's operating and capital budgets, evaluates fiscal policies, and promotes transparency and accountability in public spending — always working to align financial decisions with community priorities.
Throughout her career, Councilor Faulkner has partnered with local, state, federal, and tribal stakeholders across New Mexico to develop and implement policy solutions in healthcare, community development, education, and public-private partnerships. She is recognized for building coalitions, navigating complex and sensitive issues, and delivering practical, lasting agreements.
A trained mediator, Pilar is known for bringing people together to find common ground and move initiatives forward. She has also contributed to land use policy, transit planning, and community-driven efforts through service on numerous local boards and commissions.
