GCCC opens Saturday 5/17/25. Closed Sunday 5/18/25.

GCCC Facility Hours Notice

Due to gym floor refinishing, the Genoveva Chavez Community Center will open for one day; Saturday 5/17/25 for regularly scheduled programming and will close again until further notice. Gym, track, and fitness area will remain closed for the gym refinishing projects. Reopening notices are availale online. Refer to the GCCC https://santafenm.gov/community-services/recreation/genoveva-chavez-community-center-gccc for up to date information.  The Urethane products are water-based and non-toxic. Fumes and odor may be present during the curing process, please use the facility at your own discretion.  Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available for review at the front desk.

 Alternative Hours are available at Salvador Perez and Ft. Marcy Complex as follows: 

Ft. Marcy Open Saturday 5/17/25 (Normal Hours) Sunday 5/18/25 8a-4p Aquatics Section Closed.

Salvador Perez: Sunday 8a-4p (Lap and limited Rec Swim Available) 8:30-3:30 for Aquatics. 

GCCC Re-opening To Be Determined based on project progression. Please check the GCCC website for Monday 5/19/25 opening notices. 

Updated: GCCC BASKETBALL GYMNASIUM CLOSED 5/5 through 5/18

The GCCC Gym is closed May 5th through 18th for floor resurfacing and maintenance. There is potential for a longer closure. Please go to https://santafenm.gov/community-services/recreation/genoveva-chavez-community-center-gccc for up to date information and closure notices. 

Salvador Perez Recreation Center Closure

Salvador Perez Recreation Center Will be Closed from May 12th-16th Due to Weight Room Flooring Upgrade and Replacement. Aquatic hours are available at Ft. Marcy Complex Monday-Friday 6AM-3:30PM.
