Delayed Opening for GCCC Swimming Pools — Saturday, April 11, 2026

The GCCC Swimming Pools will open later than usual on Saturday, April 11, 2026, due to Lifeguard Training In-Service.

Pool Schedule

  • Therapy Pool: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Lap Pool: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Tot Time: 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • Recreation Swim: 11:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

2026 Summer Youth Program Registration Opens April 8


Registration for the 2026 Summer Youth Program is a two-step process.

 

Step 1: Schedule Your Registration Appointment Online

Beginning Wednesday, April 8, at 8:00 a.m., you must schedule a registration appointment online.

Step 2: Attend Your In-Person Registration Appointment

After scheduling your appointment, you must attend your in-person registration appointment on:
Saturday, April 11, 2026
Genoveva Chavez Community Center
3221 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM 87507

Registration will take place in person at your scheduled appointment time.

 

Program Overview

Ages: 6 to 12 years
Dates: Monday, June 1, to Friday, July 24, 2026
Attendance: Full-time required
Fees: Sliding-scale structure

Payment is due at the time of registration.

 

Required Documentation

Proof of age and income are required.

Proof of Age (bring one):
Birth certificate
Passport
Immunization records

Proof of Income:
Most recent tax return for the household
Most recent pay stubs for the household, Social Security, or disability

Participants engage in structured group activities, including:

Starts 4/7

Mondays: Depart from the GCCC

Wednesday and Friday: Depart from Fort. Marcy

Reservations are required 24 hours before the scheduled bike rides
