BICENTENNIAL TOT POOL OPEN

We are pleased to announce that the Tot Pool at Bicentennial is operational and will be opening for regular session starting today, 6/4/26 at 10:30 am. 

We thank you for your patience while this repair was completed and look forward to seeing you soon!

Fort Marcy Limited Lap Swimming

Starting on Monday, June 8th, the pool at the Fort Marcy Recreation Complex will be opening on Mondays and Wednesdays ONLY. 

Swimming times as follows:

Mondays: 11:00 am to 6:00 pm

Wednesdays: 11:00 am to 6:00 pm

The information below provides additional context about maintenance practices, staffing, repair processes, and ongoing efforts to support safe and reliable aquatic services for Santa Fe residents.

Temporary Closure of Hot Tub and Slide at GCCC

Effective May 27, the Genoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC) hot tub will be temporarily closed while crews replace the swimming pool motors.

Genoveva Chavez Community Center Summer Hours

Starting May 26th

Monday through Friday

  • Lap Swim: 6:00a.m. to 7:30p.m.
  • Therapy Pool Sessions:
    • 6:00a.m. to 9:00a.m.
    • 12:30p.m. to 2:00p.m.
    • 6:00p.m. to 7:30p.m.
  • Youth Summer Camp Recreation: 9:30a.m. to 10:30a.m.
  • Visiting youth Camp Session: 10:45a.m. to 11:45a.m.
  • Open Recreation (all ages): 2:00p.m to 6:00p.m.

Saturday and Sunday

  • Lap Swim: 8:30a.m. to 3:30p.m.
  • Therapy Pool: 8:30a.m. to 10:30a.m.
  • Toddler time (ages 4 and under): 10:30a.m. to 12:00p.m.
  • Recreation Swim: 12:30p.m. to 3:30p.m.

FACILITY CLOSED: 3:00p.m. to 3:30p.m.

  • Recreation Session 2 (lap swim included): 3:30p.m. to 7:00p.m.
  • Tot Pool Session 2: 3:30p.m. to 7:00p.m.

Saturday and Sunday

  • Recreation Session 1 (lap swim included): 10:30a.m to 1:30p.m.
  • Tot Pool Session 1: 10:30a.m. to 1:30p.m.

FACILITY CLOSED: 1:30p.m. to 2:00p.m.

  • Recreation Session 2 (lap swim included): 2:00p.m. to 5:00p.m.
  • Tot Pool Session 2: 2:00p.m. to 5:00p.m.

PATRONS MUST EXIT THE FACILITY BETWEEN SESSION AND PAY FOR EACH SESSION ATTENDED.

FORT MARCY POOL: CLOSED MAY 23RD THROUGH AUGUST 2ND

SALVADOR PEREZ POOL: CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE FOR REPAIRS.

2026 Summer Youth Program Registration Opens April 8


Registration for the 2026 Summer Youth Program is a two-step process.

 

Step 1: Schedule Your Registration Appointment Online

Beginning Wednesday, April 8, at 8:00 a.m., you must schedule a registration appointment online.

Step 2: Attend Your In-Person Registration Appointment

After scheduling your appointment, you must attend your in-person registration appointment on:
Saturday, April 11, 2026
Genoveva Chavez Community Center

Registration will take place in person at your scheduled appointment time.

 

Program Overview

Ages: 6 to 12 years
Dates: Monday, June 1, to Friday, July 24, 2026
Attendance: Full-time required
Fees: Sliding-scale structure

Payment is due at the time of registration.

 

Required Documentation

Proof of age and income are required.

Proof of Age (bring one):
Birth certificate
Passport
Immunization records

Proof of Income:
Most recent tax return for the household
Most recent pay stubs for the household, Social Security, or disability
