Solicitations:

The City of Santa Fe, along with Buckman Direct Diversion (BDD), and the Santa Fe Solid Waste Management Agency (SWMA), are modernizing how we post and manage procurement opportunities. 

We are currently posting solicitations in both the Munis Bid Module and the new OpenGov eProcurement Portal during this transition. This includes: 

• Emergency Procurements 
• Invitations to Bid (ITBs) 
• Requests for Applications (RFAs) 
• Requests for Proposals (RFPs) 
• Requests for Quotes (RFQs) 
• Sole Source Procurements

Where to Find Opportunities (You only need to bid in one system) 

Munis Vendor Self-Service (VSS) – Bid Module 

Visit VSS

• Click “Bids” then click “Search” to view open solicitations 
• Click the solicitation number to see details 
• Click “Create Bid” to submit a response (registration required) 
  • Download VSS Registration Instructions

OpenGov eProcurement Portal

Visit OpenGov and shown below 

• Subscribe to receive email alerts 
• Follow solicitations for updates and addenda 
• Submit questions and bids directly through the portal 

Important Notes 

• During this transition, check both VSS and OpenGov to avoid missing opportunities 
• Keep your accounts up to date to avoid account deactivation 
• Deadlines and instructions in each solicitation must be followed exactly 
• Emergency procurements are posted within 3 days of award 
• Sole source notices are posted for 30 days; protests must be submitted within 15 calendar days to: purchasing@santafenm.gov 
• Munis will be used indefinitely for financial processing (contracts, POs, invoicing, payments) 
• Archived procurements can be viewed by category on the bottom left-hand side of this page and in VSS.
