Proposed Opportunity
The City of Santa Fe is asking voters to vote on a $25 million bond in the 2024 General Election.
Purpose of the Bond
This bond will fund pavement reconstruction, associated ADA curb ramp improvements, and new striping on approximately 50 road segments.
Funding Distribution
Each city district will receive $6 million for road improvements on main roads and neighborhoods.
Construction Timeline
Construction would begin in 2025, with 85% of projects expected to be completed by 2028, ensuring swift and impactful improvements.
Benefits to Residents
The goal is to enhance road conditions for smoother and safer travel while preventing potholes and high future repair costs.
Cost to Homeowners
Homeowners with a market value of $500,000 can expect an increase of $25 in their annual property tax bill.
