Do I need a Permit?

If you live in a designated residential parking permit-required neighborhood and park on the street, you must obtain annual residential parking permits. These permits are free to residents who complete a parking permit application and provide proof of residency (lease agreement, utility bill, etc.) and current vehicle(s) registration. Permits will not be issued to customers whose vehicles have outstanding citations.

For the convenience of our residents, the City of Santa Fe Parking Division offers multiple options for you to apply for a new residential permit or renew a current one. Before selecting your desired permit below, please read the City of Santa Fe's Residential Parking Permit Policies and Procedures in English or Spanish.

If you are renewing your current residential parking permit, please see the schedule below for when you should renew. Please note your current permit is still valid until the renewal month below.

The following streets are designated as Residential Parking Permits required:

District 1: W Manhattan Ave., Aztec St., W DeVargas St., Defouri St., Romero St., Adolfo St., Amado St., Alarid St., Paseo de Peralta, Ninita St., Rosita St., Camino Sierra Vista. - Renew in December, for January 

District 2: Rio Grande Ave., Paseo de la Cuma, Rosario St. - Renew in June for July

District 3: E. Palace Ave., Faithway - Renew in June for July

District 4: Galisteo St. - Renew in June for July

District 5: Kearney Rd., Kearney Ave., Otero, Magdalena - Renew in June for July

District 6: Chapelle St., McKenzie St., Staab St. - Renew in September for October

District 7: Don Gaspar Ave., E Santa Fe Ave., W Santa Fe Ave., Galisteo, Webber St., Winische Way - Renew in March, for April 

District 8: Elena St., W San Francisco St., Don Felix- Renew in September, for October

District 9: Acequia Madre - Renew in September for October

DISTRICT 10:  Jaguar Drive - Renew in May, for June
