The City of Santa Fe Fire Marshal’s Office has adopted the International Fire Code 2015 (IFC 2015) edition along with amendments as provided in City Ordinance as the code to provide the authority to enforce the identification and abatement of fire hazards.

Fire codes and standards establish minimum requirements, but should not prevent or discourage someone from exceeding these minimum requirements or provisions of the IFC 2015 and/or standards referenced.
