Project Description
This project is a reconstruction of Henry Lynch Road from Rufina Street to Agua Fria Street. The intersection of Henry Lynch Road with Agua Fria Street will be redesigned as a roundabout. All roadway, drainage, pedestrian, and bicycle facilities, such as sidewalks, will be redesigned and brought up to current standards, and lighting, signing, and striping will be improved.
Project Accomplishments
The Henry Lynch Road portion of the project is approximately 60% complete, but the design will be expanded to include modifications for the roundabout at Agua Fria Street. The roundabout portion of the project design is starting on January 2025.
Early Neighborhood Notification Meetings
A virtual public meeting for Henry Lynch Road was held on November 30th, 2022. The scope, purpose and need, existing conditions, and lack of bike and pedestrian facilities were discussed.
Target Completion Dates
The following dates and timeframes are currently in the schedule and are subject to change as the project progresses
- Public meeting on Roundabout at Henry Lynch Road and Agua Fria Street – Spring 2025
- Public meeting for the entire project – Late Spring or Early Summer 2025
- 60% of design complete and meet with City – Early Summer 2025
- 90% of design complete and meet with City – Early Fall 2025
- PSE design complete and meet with City – Fall 2025
- Final plans submitted to City – Fall 2025
- Bid Advertisement – Late Fall 2025
- Bid Evaluation and recommendation of award – December 2025
